To help CORE Electric explain their Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) program, we built a stylized animated video that visualizes how and why power might be temporarily turned off in high-risk weather conditions. Working closely with their communications team, we transformed a sensitive and often misunderstood topic into a clear, structured narrative that walks viewers through each key step in the process.
Using a custom-built 3D city, branded lighting effects, and modular camera moves, we created an explainer that’s informative, approachable, and aligned with CORE’s identity. Every scene was designed to show—not just tell—how safety systems like alternate relay settings and PSPS events work in real time.
The result is a durable communication tool that helps reduce confusion and build trust. Whether shared proactively or during an outage event, the video helps members understand what’s happening and why it matters.
